Prayers up!

We previously reported that rapper King Von was fatally shot on Nov. 6, outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge in downtown Atlanta. Gunfire was exchanged between two groups of guys who were arguing with each other.

The report claims in total, six people were shot, including three who remained at the scene and were transported to the hospital by EMS. The other three reportedly fled the scene but ended up at the hospital. Three people in total died, including King Von. No police were injured.

Now, reportedly the suspect responsible for the death of King Von has been arrested. According to reports, Timothy Leeks, 22, of Savannah, was caught Saturday in the shooting outside of the Monaco Hookah Lounge that left the 26-year-old rapper dead. “Mr. Leeks is in police custody at Grady Hospital where he is undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound,” an Atlanta police spokeswoman told New York Post. “The homicide of Bennett is closed with this arrest.”

Please keep Von’s friends, family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May he rest peacefully.
