Everyone may not agree with his parenting skills, but you can’t deny T.I. isn’t a family man.
He penned a sweet love letter to his daughter Deyjah Harris for her birthday. He shared video cuts from when she was younger. In the caption, he wrote,
“Happy Birthday @deyjahimani I Intentionally waited a day later so I could celebrate you by myself selfishly. I love you to no end. Even though tumultuous times I still think the world of you. I’m always proud and incredibly impressed by your revolutionary perspective.” He continues,
“Your words are soft and seldom heard but always impactful and profound at the same time. You never cease to amaze me with your growth and self-evaluation. I LOVE YOU today even more than ever before. I’m biting the shit out of a shark & beating a bear bout you, love bug. Thank you for teaching me what I needed to learn about things I didn’t know that I didn’t know. You’re forever my baby bear!!!

In 2019, T.I was appeared on the Ladies Like Us podcast and spoke on how he handles sex with his children. He admitted to going with his then 18-year-old daughter, Deyjah Harris, to GYN visits to ensure that her hymen is “intact” to ensure she’s still a virgin (which had been going on since she was 14 or 15).
Last year, Dejah addressed the controversy. She said the situation traumatized her, and she’s been keeping her distance from her dad, but she still loves him.
