Did you know this?

Back in 2008, a lawsuit was filed against Kim Kardashian and her siblings Khloe, Kourtney and Robert Jr. for allegedly spending some one else money. Mother and manager to Brandy and Ray J, Sonja Norwood accused the Kardashian clan of spending over $120,000 on her American Express card in 2006 and 2007.

This story resurfaced on Twitter in light of DJ Mustard’s personal shopper using his credit card for her own expenses as well.

At the time Kim worked as Brandy’s personal stylist, and was using the credit card for her job. The lawsuit detailed that Kim passed the credit card number along to her siblings. Then, it was used to make unauthorized purchases including shopping trips at Dash and Smooch — two stores previously owned by the reality television family. The charges totaled to $120,636.

“After Ray J and Brandy urged me not to file criminal charges because of their prior friendship, I decided to afford the Kardashians an opportunity to resolve this matter without a lawsuit,” Sonja said in reports by People. “When the fraudulent charges were brought to their attention, they apologized profusely, and advised us, through their attorneys, that they would pay the debt in full. However, they have since reneged on that promise.”

The case was dismissed and settled out of court in 2009.

Twitter had a field day with this of course.
