Tyler Perry continues to pour into his community.
Over the weekend, the media mogul hosted a Thanksgiving drive, where he gave away non-perishable items and gift cards to 5,000 families.
The giveaway took place outside of his Atlanta studio and Fox 5 Atlanta tweeted out that the giveaway stretched for miles.
The first car in line got here at 3pm…YESTERDAY. #TPSGiving starts at 8am. Already, lines extend miles long, causing back-ups on Langford Pkwy and I-20.@TPstudios will be giving away non-perishables and gift cards to 5K families.

According to the event’s flyer, the giveaway was on a first-come, first-served basis. Families stayed in their cars while collecting their items to make sure that everyone remained safe during the pandemic.
