Cardi won her libel suit against the blogger known as Tasha K.
Cardi claimed a few years ago, Tasha alleged inappropriate comments about Cardi. Tasha claimed Cardi had contracted herpes and abused drugs. In 2019, Cardi told the blogger to remove her damaging posts, but Tasha refused.
Cardi sued Tasha, and finally, the week-plus trial is over. TMZ reports Tasha was found liable on three separate claims and ordered to pay Cardi $1.25 million in general damages and $250k for medical expenses.
The publication also points out the judge said any potential punitive damages Tasha might owe Cardi will be determined in a future hearing. Tasha wrote a message on Twitter, thanking her husband and legal team.
Cardi hasn’t spoken out publicly about the result of the case. Last week, she explained how the entire situation made her suicidal in court. Luckily, it’s over now.
