Vince Carter’s Home Robbed For Nearly $100K As Family Hid In The Closet

NBA legend Vince Carter’s Atlanta home was robbed as his wife and children hid in the closet. 

According to reports, the thieves got away with nearly $100K. Carter’s wife, Sandi, recalls to the police that she was in the bed when she heard noises coming from the front of the house. 

She stated that she called the police before hiding with her sons, telling the dispatcher that she can someone moving from room to room. Police state that witnessed the intruder wearing all black run to a getaway car and flee the scene. 

The Atlanta Police officers found a total of $16,100 scattered on the floor as well as two handguns. Vince Carter, who wasn’t home at the time of the robbery said that the money that was left behind was a small part of the nearly $100k that was taken from their home.

There were no reports of anyone being injured while in the house. This is a developing story and we will keep you posted with updates.
