Jay-Z isn’t the only one that wants to help black entrepreneurs during the pandemic, so does his wife Beyonce! Jay-Z purchased multiple ads in newspapers to promote black-owned businesses and Bey is doing her part as well.

Beyoncè and her BeyGOOD foundation joined forces with NAACP to create a black-owned small business impact fund. The fund will provide grants up to $10,000 to help black and brown business owners deal with the economic impact of COVID-19. The grant will be offered to people who live in Houston, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. Those who qualify will have until July 18 to submit their application. It’ll be reviewed from July 20-29 and winners will be notified by July 31 on Beyonce.com.

NAACP wrote a message on their website, announcing how delighted they were about the partnership.  “The NAACP is proud to partner with BeyGOOD to help strengthen small businesses and to ensure economic empowerment for Black businesses.”
