Cardi B. is dealing with another legal situation.

Back when Cardi was about 4 months pregnant with Kulture (it wasn’t announced to the world yet), the Bronx rapper had a situation at her doctor’s office. A security guard by the name Emani Ellis who worked at the facility wanted to take a picture with Cardi but she declined because she didn’t want to take pictures in a doctor’s office.

This caused the guard to get upset and it led to an argument between the two.

On Friday, Feb. 21, Emani has filed a lawsuit, claiming that during the scuffle, Cardi “maliciously struck her in the head, face, and body.” She also says that Cardi spit on her used profanities and racial slurs. The suit also says Cardi got her fired.

However, a building staff who saw the argument claims Cardi never got physical. Cardi also addressed the suit on her Twitter account and denied the assault.

Emani is suing Cardi for assault, battery, and infliction of emotional distress. It’s not clear how much she’s seeking.

Cardi B. is also fighting felony charges from an August 2018 strip club brawl in Queens.
