Cardi B. is going to have to give her best friend a lot of emotional support because things just got real.
Reported on NBC, Cardi B.’s long-time friend, Yonette Respass, also known as, Star Brim, is facing gang-related charges. Authorities did a “sweeping roundup” of the 59 Brims, a sector of the Bloods Gang group.
18 defendants, alongside Star Brim have been charged today (Feb. 18th). Star won’t be arrested until after she gives birth, which could be within the next few days the report says.
Star Brim is considered the highest-ranking female member of the 59 Brims, and she’s also known as “Godmother.” She’s charged with slashing a person and participating in a racketeering conspiracy.
Star Brim is also allegedly caught up in the Queens strip club brawl drama that happened with Tekashi69’s girlfriend Jade, and her sister. Star Brim allegedly ordered the attack from prison, according to a report. Cardi is still fighting the case and was charged with two counts of felony attempted assault with intent to cause serious injury and some misdemeanor charges.
