This is good news for Jakobi Wilburn, Future’s 17-year-old son.

Jakobi was facing criminal charges for having a gun with no serial number and giving false information to a police officer.

According to court documents obtained by Bossip, a judge agreed to drop Jakobi’s charge of, “criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark. However, he’s still facing charges for giving false information to the police as well as “unlawful gang activity.” He’s been in jail since the beginning of the year and will continue to stay there without any bond. He’s considered a risk since he was already on $20,000 bail in a separate gang case.

The article also reports Jakobi was first arrested in Nov. 2019 for “felony criminal damage to property and trespassing for allegedly spray-painting a home with “NORP,” which stands for “Normal Ordinary Regular Playa,” and is associated with the “Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips.

Since he’s only 17, it’s not too late for him to turn his life around.
