If you were wondering why Kanye West has been silent during the protesting that has been happening all over this world, following the tragic killing of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, here’s why.
According to TMZ, Ye’ has reportedly donated $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor. He also has set up a college savings fund for Gianna, the 6-year-old daughter of George Floyd.
Social media has been calling celebrities to speak out on the injustices of innocent Black people.Although he hasn’t been that vocal, (on social media) it looks like Kanye is doing his part. He also offered to cover the legal costs for Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor’s families.
Ye’ is also reportedly donating to a number of black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago and across the nation.
