New Music Friday: Lil Tjay Honors Pop Smoke On ‘Forever Pop’

LOS ANGELES

The world is still mourning the untimely passing of Brooklyn rapper, Pop Smoke.

Bashar Barakah Jackson was only 20-years-old at the time of his tragic passing. Pop was known for hit tracks such as “Dior,” “Welcome to the Party,” and “Christopher Walkin.’”At such a short time Pop made a huge impact on the Brooklyn drill sound.

Many fans, celebrities and loved ones alike expressed their love for Pop via social media. Fellow rapper Lil TJay dropped a tribute song for the late rapper titled Forever Pop. The two collaborated on many songs such as “War” and “Mannequin” off of Pop’s latest album, Meet The Woo 2.

 “SMH GANG, SHIT FUCKING WACK ! BUT FUCK WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE TALKING BOUT IM RAISING HELL OVER YOU FOREVER. REST EAZY CUZ, IMA SEE U SOON. LOVE U N***A,” TJay said via Instagram.
