Vanessa Bryant Files Wrongful Death Suit Against Helicopter Operator In Crash That Killed Kobe And Gianna Bryant

Vanessa Bryant has reportedly sued the helicopter company, Island Express Helicopters, and the survivors of the pilot holding them both responsible that killed her husband Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna, along with 7 other passengers. 

TMZ obtained the lawsuit that stated, the company was “only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, and the conditions the day of the crash were not conducive for such flying.” 

The lawsuit also states that the pilot was going 180 miles per hour in the heavy fog and that the pilot failed to properly monitor and assess the weather prior to takeoff. 

The lawsuit is seeking loss of love, care, affection, service, and more. 

Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant and the other 7 passengers were killed on January 26th,2020.
