Eminem has been receiving some backlash since releasing his latest album “Music To Be Murdered By.”

In two of his songs, ‘Darkness” and “Unaccommodating” the rapper raps about the Las Vegas gunman who killed 58 people and the bombing in Manchester during the Ariana Grande concert, both taking place in 2017.

Fans and listeners expressed how upset they were with the lyrics, causing Eminem to defend himself in an open letter.

According to Rolling Stone, Eminem begins the letter by explaining the theme of the album and then states that his album is “not for the squeamish”. He also suggested that fans should listen closely to the finer parts of the songs.
