Everything You Missed At The 2021 Grammys!

Due to the pandemic, the 2021 63rd annual Grammys looked a little different this year! 

The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah hosted the show outside near a plaza by the Staples Center where it usually takes place. 

Megan Thee Stallion took home three awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap Song and Best Performance for “Savage” remix with Beyoncé. Anderson .Paak won Best Melodic Rap Performance. Bad Bunny won his first Grammy for Best Latin Pop or Urban album. H.E.R, alongside the writers for “I Can’t Breathe” won a Grammy for Song Of The Year. 

Nas won his first Grammy for Best Rap Album for King’s Disease. Kanye West also won his first gospel Grammy for Jesus Is King. Beyonce won Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade. The Queen Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy wins by any female. (The late Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti holds the record with 31 Grammy Awards. Beyoncé has 28.

Some dope performances by DaBaby, he rapped his song “Rockstar.” Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez performed “Dákiti.” Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak aka Silk Sonic was added last minute to the show and sang their new banger “Leave The Door Open.” Cardi and Megan performed “WAP” and Cardi performed “Up.”

Lil Baby dedicated his performance to police brutality. Doja Cat transformed into a cat woman and performed “Say So.” Roddy Ricch performed his new song “Heartless” and “The Box.” Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, Brandi Carlile, and Lionel Richie, also paid tribute to Little Richard, John Prine, and Kenny Rogers.
