Things aren’t looking too good for lightweight championship boxer Gervonta Davis.

A video of what appeared to be Davis grabbing the mother of his child by the neck surfaced the internet and fans are not pleased with it. The boxer was in Miami for Super-Bowl weekend when the altercation took place. The incident allegedly started over an “argument” between the two at a charity event.

Now, Davis did admit to being aggressive, but claims he would never hurt the mother of his child. He writes via Instagram, “I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on… that’s the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trash.”
