Hundreds of people are gathering to pay their finals respects to George Floyd.
The family of George Floyd is holding a memorial in the city of Minneapolis, where Floyd was killed at the hands of the police. His death caused a global outrage which resulted in worldwide protests against police brutality.
The Rev. Al Sharpton is scheduled to deliver the eulogy as hundreds are set to attend while thousands are watching from across the world. This will be the first of three services for the late 46-year-old. The other services are scheduled to be held in North Carolina and Floyd’s hometown of Houston.
