This is a step toward justice in the case of Rayshard Brooks.
Several sources report the officer who is responsible for Brooks’ death, has been charged with felony murder and other charges.
On June 12, Brooks’ life was taken away at the hands of Officer Garrett Rolfe, who has been fired since then. Last week during the incident, at an ATL Wendy’s, a 9-1-1 call was made about a man (Brooks) sleeping in a parked car at the drive-thru. When Rolfe, and officer Devin Brosnan, who has been placed on administrative duty since the tragedy, arrived on the scene, Rolfe shot Brooks after Brooks took his taser.
CNN reports there are arrest warrants for Rolfe and Brosnan and they must surrender by Thursday.
