Lil Wayne is doing something dope for his fans.
There were conversations last year about Weezy releasing a scripted TV series based on his 2016 book, Gone Till November. The book was like a diary and it gave insight into his 2010 eight-month Rikers Island sentence over a gun charge.
Now it looks like the book will be coming to life. Reported on his fan page on Instagram, Weezy’s former manager Cortez Bryant told him that the series is coming soon. It’s not clear when it’ll be released, but it may get streamed on Netflix. The streaming platform is reportedly looking to feature more hip hop content.
