According to CNN, New York Mayor Bill De Blasio is extremely concerned about the amount of supplies left in the hospitals.
De Blasio says he conversed with President Donald Trump, along with VP Mike Pence warning them that New York hospitals will soon run out of medical supplies. “I made clear… that we have the most urgent need in our hospital systems — particularly our public hospitals — when it comes to equipment and supplies, “ said De Blasio in an interview with Pix11.
The Mayor also made it clear that hospitals need ventilators more than anything right now.
While De Blasio did not repeat Trump and Pence said in response to his concerns, he did say he appreciated the conversation… “I appreciated the conversation for sure and I will certainly be following up with the White House. But I’m waiting for a real answer of when exactly we’re going to get each kind of supply, each kind of equipment…I heard good intentions — which I appreciate — but I want to see the real thing.”
