It was time for Noname to get the last word.

The artist shared a brand new track titled “Song 33” which is meant to be a response to J. Cole following the release of his first solo track in one year, “Snow on tha Bluff,” which seemingly addresses some words she had towards him and other celebrities.

“But n**** act quiet as a church mouse/In the studio when duty calls to get the verse …/It’s time to go to work, wow, look at him go/He really ’bout to write about me when the world is in smokes/There’s people in trees when George was beggin’ for his mother/ Saying he couldn’t breathe, you thought to write about me?”

She also posted some other lyrics from the track on Twitter.
