R.Kelly was taken to the hospital to have emergency surgery.
Kelly was reportedly transferred from the MCC to the hospital to repair a hernia. Due to this surgery, Kelly missed his court date.
In 2019, the singer’s attorney filed documents stating that he was dealing with some medical issues including numbness in his hands, anxiety, and an injured hernia.
Kelly has since been transported back to the MCC and is taking medication for the pain.
There is no word on when his next court date will be. We will keep you posted.
