It’s been a month since Pop Smoke’s tragic death and the situation is still trying to be pieced together. Back on Feb. 19, while Pop was in California, he was killed during a home invasion. The 20-year-old rapper was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood.

The suspects are still at large and police are having a hard time investigating since people don’t want to talk. Authorities aren’t giving up and are reportedly taking the case day by day.

Prior to Pop’s death, he was facing charges over the car thieving situation. He was accused of stealing a black 2019 Rolls-Royce that he had borrowed for a music video in California. According to several news reports, the feds plan on dropping this case.

The judge issued an order yesterday (March 18) that requires the U.S Attorney’s Office to submit a status update on the case against the Brooklyn rapper. There’s been a motion for “nolle prosequi,” which means the prosecutor decided not to move forward with the charges.

People close to Pop shared videos and pictures in his memory. His bae, who goes by the name online as Yummy Yellow, shared a sweet video of them together. His close friend/brother Mike also posted, take a look:
