21 Savage Arrested By ICE; Set To Be Deported

21 Savage has been arrested by ICE this weekend in Atlanta. The rapper is facing deportation after his visa expired and he is currently living in the United States illegally. Savage legally entered the U.S in 2005 and he is currently being held for removal proceedings which includes being in the country illegally and for being a felon.

Back in 2014, he was convicted of drug charges. According to TMZ, Savage’s lawyer said, “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with authorities to clear up any misunderstanding. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in the country especially in Atlanta, Georgia and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy.”
