21 Savage speaks out after some of his comments went viral.
We previously reported that while on Clubhouse, 21 Savage speaks on Nas’ relevancy. He says, “I don’t feel like he’s relevant,” he explained. “I just feel like he got a loyal fan base. He still makes good music.” While on the call, 21 was asked his definition of relevance. “Mostly connected or appropriate to what’s being done to be considered,” he then said in response.
After the comments went viral, Nas' brother Jungle had an opinion of his own. He comments under The Shaderoom’s post, “21 Savage is trash. Glad Nas dropped KD3 so fans can hear real bars…21 can you do something for me? (laughing emojis).”
Now- according to 21, his comments were taken out of context. He explains via Twitter, "I would never disrespect nas or any legend who paved the way for me y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it..."
Nas has yet to respond to the comments.
