50 Cent Celebrates ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ Going Diamond

On the 16th anniversary of 50 Cent’s sophomore album, “The Massacre,” 50 celebrates the success of his debut album.

Get Rich or Die Tryin’   sold 12 million copies in the first year of its release, it was named the best album of 2003. 50 expresses his gratitude via Instagram. He writes, “everybody loves Diamonds over 13 million records sold not bad for a first album…”

The album features hit singles such as 21 Questions, In Da Club, P.I.M.P and more.

50’s second album, The Massacre, sold over 11 million copies, and was named the number one album of the year on the Billboard top 200 in 2015.

“Second [diamond] this not bad for a kid from South Side,” says 50.
