Brooklyn rapper Daniel Hernandez, known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, was arrested a few weeks ago on federal charges for racketeering and he’s been linked to three armed robberies. He’s currently facing 32 years to life in prison.
When 6ix9ine was first arraigned, his lawyer Lance Lazarro made an offer and was denied because they thought Tekashi69 would be a flight risk. Lance is making a second attempt, reported on TMZ. This time he’s offering $1.5 million. His defense team is making the argument that 6ix9ine isn’t a danger to the community or a flight risk.
Tekashi69 wants to be home before his trial in September. Lance is hoping to file the motion before their next court date in January. If all goes according to plan, the “Dummy Boy” rapper will be released until trial.
