Whitney Houston’s life story is heading back to the big screen.
According to reports, the biopic is called I Wanna Dance with Somebody is currently in the works with the screenwriter Anthony McCarten. The movie is set to be directed by Stella Meghie, who also directed The Weekend and The Photograph.
Meghie states that she is a big fan of the late singer and she worked hard to get the job as director. She also posted about the film on her Instagram page.

Houston’s sister-in-law will be a part of the production on behalf of the Houston Estate. The biopic is set to focus on Houston’s super-stardom.
At the moment, there is no word on who will play Whitney Houston.
