I’m not a businessman, I’m a business, man!”

Those were the words of Jay Z on the remix of Kanye West’s hit single “Diamonds From Sierra Leone.” After growing his Roc Nation roster in recent weeks, he made a major decision with his streaming platform TIDAL.

The company has reportedly decided to sell 33{bd483ef8fff97925ca6b414cc7e3849cff36102afd5e6d9b16bc5c438af6ada1} of their company to Sprint for about $200 million.

Financial Times says that Sprint’s chief executive Marcelo Claure will be joining TIDAL’s board while the company is still run by Jay Z and his partners.

In a press release Hova gave the following statement:

“Sprint shares our view of revolutionizing the creative industry to allow artists to connect directly with their fans and reach their fullest, shared potential. Marcelo understood our goal right away and together we are excited to bring Sprint’s 45 million customers an unmatched entertainment experience.”

As of May of last year the platform had 4.2 million subscribers with exclusic content from Kanye West, Rihanna, Beyoncé and more released in 2016.
