Big Freedia is coming to Boosie’s defense.
Freedia was born a male and is gay but doesn’t identify as transgender. Freedia said, “I am just a gay male… I wear women’s hair and carry a purse, but I am a man. Freedia prefers the noun “she” however.
TMZ caught up with Freedia, and in the video, she said, “Boosie isn’t homophobic, he just has beef with Lil Nas X.” Boosie caught wind of the comment and replied on social media. In a Tweet, Boosie said, “Thank you, Big Freedia. Those who think I hate gays are lost. But [I’m a] go let ya’ll keep taking up for someone who says ‘f*** your kids.’ Smh. Boosie was facing backlash for his comments about Lil Nas X, telling him to commit suicide. Nas wasn’t bothered by it, but his dad called Boosie out.
