#BREAKING: Shooting At Florida Airport Leaves 9 Injured; Multiple Reported Dead

A shooting at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport has left at least nine people injured and three reported dead.

According to CNBC:

The shooter is in custody, and the motive is unknown at this time, law enforcement officials said. The airport tweeted that the incident took place at the Terminal 2 baggage claim area.

Hundreds of passengers and airport workers could be seen gathering and evacuating via the tarmac. The airport tweeted that all services are temporarily suspended and passengers should contact their air carrier about flight information.

UPDATE:

The gunman has been named as Esteban Santiago according to Senator Bill Nelson of Florida. He reportedly said that he was carrying a military ID at the time alongwith a hand gun. The shooting began at baggage claim.
