Burna Boy and Wizkid To Headline First Afro Nation Miami Festival

Yesterday (Jan. 9), Afro Nation announced that Afrobeats superstars Burna Boy and Wizkid will headline their first ever festival in Miami. The two-day event will take place at LoanDepot Park from May 27 to May 28.

The first set of performers includes Rema, Asake, Beenie Man, Dadju, CKay, Franglish, BNXN, Black Sherif, Nelson Freitas, Gyakie, and Nissi. Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles, Focalistic, Musa Keys, Virgo Deep, and TXC also appear on the lineup. According to the franchise, more performers are to be announced.

General tickets for Afro Nation Miami will be available for purchase starting on Friday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. EST. You can also register at usa.afronation.com to gain access to a special presale.

In November of last year, Wizkid released his 13-track fifth studio album More Love, Less Ego. It features Ayra Starr, Skillibeng, Shenseea, Skepta, Naira Marley, and Don Toliver. The project peaked at No. 59 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Burna Boy released his sixth studio album Love, Damini last summer. The 19-track project features Lady Black Mambazo, J Hus, Victony, Popcaan, Blxst, Kehlani, Ed Sheeran, J Balvin, and Khalid. It peaked at No. 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
