Cam Newton will no longer be a Carolina Panther.

It has been reported that Panthers are expected to release Newton after being unable to find a trade partner.

The Quarterback’s release would save the team $19.1 million in cap space for 2020. This decision comes after the Panthers agreed to move forward with free-agent quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Cam Newton was a member of the Panthers from 2011-2019.

There’s no word if Newton is looking into other prospects at the moment.
