Cardi B took to her Twitter to let fans know for the “past two years” she has not been herself.

The rapper has been making headlines as new hashtag, #SurvivingCardiB has surfaced the internet. The hashtag started once an old video of Cardi B allegedly admitting to “drugging” and “robbing” men resurfaced on social media.

We haven’t heard much from Cardi since the incident. Yet, this morning (April 6th) Cardi broke her silence. The Bronx native responded to a fan who tweeted, “I love you A LOT but I don’t agree with the message you’ve been sending us young girls..”

Cardi addressed the tweet and let the fan know though she’s tried to be a “role model” people still “spit [her] past in her face.” She also states, she’s going to be her “old self” again.

This conversation started after Cardi tweeted, “I’m just nasty like that.”
