Cardi B is back making people talk with her music.
While tracks such as “I Like It,” and “Be Careful,” are ruling the Billboard charts, her feature on the latest track “Who Want The Smoke” has social media buzzing.
In the track she spits the following lyrics in which people believe she is dissing either Nicki Minaj or Azealia Banks.
I-I-I hear shots comin’ on the low from hoes I’m higher than, This attention is so flatterin’ ’cause they’re admirin’, Don’t know what’s on their mind, but it should be retirement, Get the AARP or this AR get to firin’, They don’t want smoke with me, The diamonds is chokin’ me, their pussy need potpourri, These bitches is 0-3.
She also called herself the King of New York.
I get the money, I am the king of New York, And I rock a sew-in weave , I run it, I run it, I relay the win, They talkin’, they talkin’, I’m takin’ it in, I did not come here to make any friends, Who buried the bridge and aren’t makin’ amends, They don’t want none, I’ll say it again, They don’t want none, I pray for their sins.
The internet asked Cardi if that was a direct shot at Nicki Minaj, and she responded by saying that there may have been about six women on her radar while spitting that verse.
