Cardi B. shared details on the night she and her husband learned Takeoff was killed.

The Bronx rapper says she and Offset were supposed to go to Lala’s Halloween party but didn’t after Kulture, 4, vomited on Cardi’s outfit. Later in the night, Offset received the tragic phone call.

During an appearance on The Jason Lee Show, Cardi said:

“We were in bed. We were supposed to go to LaLa’s party in New York, and my daughter threw up all over my costume,” Cardi said. “Halloween was over ’cause it was just so much throw-up on the costume, and I ain’t have nothing to wear.” She continues,

“So we just fell asleep, and out of nowhere, Offset’s phone kept ringing, my phone kept ringing. Offset picked up the phone, and he was just like, ‘No!’ He’s screaming and screaming. He’s screaming like, ‘No! No! No! No!’ He’s like, ‘TakeOff is dead.’ I smacked him and said, ‘Don’t say that!’ And then he’s just like screaming and throwing things, throwing up, running all over. And I was so scared, I was crying so much. It was terrible,” Bossip reports. The full episode airs tonight (January 17) on Revolt at 10 pm ET.

Patrick Clark, 33, is suspected of killing Takeoff, 28, on November 1, 2022, at a Houston bowling alley. Patrick is out on a $1 million bond and has a court appearance in March.

Our hearts continue to be with the Migos/QC family and Takeoff’s loved ones.
