Carmelo Anthony is spending some family time with his daughter.
The basketball player was spotted having lunch with his baby girl, reportedly born on August 1, 2017. According to a report, her name is Genesis Harlo Anthony, and her mother is a woman named Mia Angel Burks.
The Gossip Of The City blog shared the photo. In the flick, Carmelo’s baby girl sits beside her dad, showing off her painted nails. She also looks like his twin; take a look:
In 2019, Carmelo received negative backlash for allegedly stepping out on his marriage with LaLa Anthony. Mia Burks, called him out for not stepping up, but she eventually gave him props for taking care of his responsibilities.
In 2021, After 11 years of marriage, Lala filed for divorce from Carmelo, citing irreconcilable differences. It was the second time they had split. In 2017 they separated after alleged infidelity; however, they seemingly reconciled in 2018. They share a 14-year-old son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.
In other Carmelo news he reacted to the passing of NBA/Celtics legend Bill Russell, 88, on July 31. Carmelo Tweeted, “A champion who revolutionized the game for all of us. Bill Russell was an inspiration to me in so many ways. May he Rest in Power.” ESPN reports Bill passed peacefully with his wife by his side. Bill was a hall of famer and won eight straight titles and 11 overall during his career.
