Chance the Rapper didn’t leave his fans disappointed!

One day after telling fans that a full album would not be released this week, the Chicago native decided to release four songs for his fans to enjoy as they wait for the full project.

On “Security” he calls out Chicago manager Rahm Emmanuel, “and Rahm you done, I’m expecting a resignation, and open investigation on all these paid vacations for murderers.”

One of the biggest announcements comes where he announces that he bought Chicago news site the Chicagoist, “I bought the Chicagoist just to run you racist b****es outta business.”

According to the Gothamist, the purchase was made from WNYC who purchased the site earlier this year, with his company Social Media LLC.

Chance released a statement following the announcement.

“I’m extremely excited to be continuing the work of the Chicagoist, an integral local platform for Chicago news, events and entertainment,” he stated. “WNYC’s commitment to finding homes for the -ist brands, including Chicagoist, was an essential part of continuing the legacy and integrity of the site. I look forward to re-launching it and bringing the people of Chicago an independent media outlet focused on amplifying diverse voices and content.”
