Chris Brown speaks on alleged altercation that took place backstage at the ‘Lovers and Friends’ festival over the weekend.
A clip surfaced online of what appeared to be a heated argument between Chris Brown and others. The singer released a statement refuting those claims.
“Yall been geeked all weekend, y’all dragging it now,” Brown wrote via Instagram. “It was mad people backstage and security was trying to clear everyone off the stage. People started pushing back.. I INTERVENED To let them know MY CHILD WAS BACK THERE. So y’all can keep ya narrative.” The incident reportedly took place during Missy Elliott’s set on Saturday night.
Now- it was an eventful weekend for Breezy as reports as claims he and Usher got into a physical altercation at his surprise birthday party on Friday night.
We previously reported that the incident went down when Chris, “who appeared intoxicated,” allegedly got “disrespectful” with Teyana Taylor. Usher reportedly tried to deescalate the situation, but Chris called Usher a “coward.” Chris Brown and his crew reportedly “jumped” Usher and left him with a bloody nose.
Chris nor Usher.. nor Teyana has yet to respond to those accusations.
