JT deactivated her Twitter account following backlash after her old tweets resurfaced.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen celebrities old tweets resurfacing early in their careers. Some social media users found some of her old tweets to be funny, while others found them to be very offensive. Some of the tweets contained colorist remarks, and also distasteful tweets about R. Kelly, racial issues, and other sensitive topics.

Initially JT deleted her verified Twitter account following the backlash, but as of today it looks like she’s back.
