Congratulations are in order!
Jeezy’s wife, Jeannie Mai, announced they’re expecting a baby.
As reported on Women’s Health, Jeannie said she’s been hiding the news for five months. She said,
“Jeezy and I have been kind of saving this and hiding this for five months. So, we’re relieved to finally share the news.”
The publication also points out that the married couple wanted to start a family last year but had difficulty conceiving. Before she got pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage. She said, “I wondered if I was being punished. I wondered if I’d jinxed myself or cursed myself.” She continued,
“My entire life, I never wanted children. When I say never, I’m talking a hard-stop never.” She claims meeting Jeezy and falling in love again changed her mind.
A week after their wedding earlier this year, she realized she was pregnant, and they didn’t need IVF treatments. It’s not clear if she’s having a boy or a girl, we’ll keep you posted! This is Jeezy’s fourth child and Jeannie’s first.
