Cyntoia Brown Slams Netflix On Latest Documentary: “I Had Nothing To Do With This Documentary”

Cyntoia Brown does not appreciate Netflix releasing the trailer to the documentary of her life while she was incarcerated. 

Brown was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 43-year-old Johnny Allen, who was paying her for sex when she was just 16-years-old. 

In the trailer of the documentary, Murder To Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story, which was directed by Daniel H. Birman. The trailer takes an inside look at Brown’s life behind bars and her standing trial throughout the years. Take a look at the trailer below. 

Once the trailer was released, Brown took to her Instagram to make a statement about it.

The film is set to be released on April 29th.
