Over the weekend, rumors that tickets were being sold to Nipsey Hussle’s funeral was going around the internet. Those rumors were debunked, and the correct details were released on the families plans to lay him to rest.
Resident of California are able to receive those tickets for free starting at 10 a.m. PST. The event is officially called a “celebration of life” memorial, and it will be held at the Staples Center Thursday (Apr. 11).
According to TMZ, the procession will follow around the same Los Angeles community he personally looked out for, and tried to improve. The route will pass his his The Marathon store where he tragically lost his life, and other spots in a 25-mile stretch around the city for about an one hour and 30 minutes before laying him to rest.
Family and friends are asking those who attend not to record and photos or video inside the Staples Center.
“Out of respect to the family, cameras and recording devices will not be permitted inside the venue. You may be asked to leave the event if you are found recording or taking photos.” Those who are caught recording will be asked to leave the venue.
