Quavo was forced to explain some recent lyrics after he began receiving backlash from fans and friends of late rapper Lil’ Peep.

“Big Bro” which is featured on the Migos rapper’s latest album Quavo Huncho, included some bars about mistaking Xanax for Fentanyl.

“Think you popping Xanax bars, but it’s Fentanyl/(No-no bars, it’s Fentanyl)/Think you’re living life like rockstars but you’re dead now.”

Some believed those lyrics were about Lil’ Peep who passed away in 2017 in a similar matter. Quavo went onto Twitter to address the rumors and reveal that the lyrics were about a barber who had passed away due to drugs.
