In a recent interview Grammy Award winning producer/pianist Robert Glasper had a lot to say about Lauryn Hill and it wasn’t nice.
According to Glasper Lauryn Hill did not treat her musicians well and recounted a story of when he was hired to play in her band for a 20-minute show that didn’t happen as planned.
Glasper claims that after a week on 10-hour rehearsals and being instructed not to look at Hill in the eye, along with calling her ‘Miss Hill’…on the last day of rehearsal she did not show up, and the band was fired.
They were told they were only going to get half of what they were promised, and that Lauryn Hill was not happy with their work.
Glasper also says the legendary singer/rapper stole some of her music, and referenced the Lauryn Hill’s lawsuit from years ago.
