The divorce continues….
Nicole Young is reportedly being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department for alleged embezzlement.
Back in September, Nicole was accused of draining the business account for $353,571.85. There was even a check that Nicole wrote to herself. Dr. Dre’s business partner, Larry Chatman, who co-founded Record One studio with Dre in 2015, accused Nicole of taking MORE money, totaling $385,029. Larry filed the report against Nicole, not Dre, TMZ reports.
In Nicole’s defense, she feels entitled to withdraw the money because her name is on the account. Her legal teams believe this is a PR stunt, however, if the judge finds Nicole in the wrong, she could face prison time.
Nicole filed for divorce over the summer and it started out smoothly until there was confusion on if Nicole ever signed a prenup. She claims she was “pressured” to sign one while Dre says that’s false. Nicole requested access to Dre’s finances and requested $2 million a month. She also requesting ownership of Dr. Dre’s name plus the trademark for The Chronic.
