The team keeps getting stronger. Drake announces that he will officially sign artist Popcaan to OVO Sound in 2019.
Drake made the announcement on December 22nd, during Popcaan’s 2018 Unruly Festival in Jamaica. “This is something we worked on for a very long time,” Drake said. “I just want to let everybody know finally, officially, 2019 Popcaan [is] signed to OVO.”
You may know Popcaan from Drake’s “Controlla,” and “Know Yourself.” In addition to Popcaan, also on the OVO roster is PartyNextDoor, Dvsn, Roy Woods, OB O’Brien and Majid Jordan.
