Tragic news for the football community.
Ex-NFL cornerback Antonio Dennard, 32, was shot and killed on October 16 near a bar/motel in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Antonio was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. TMZ reports a medical examiner will conduct an autopsy on Tuesday, October 18.
Authorities rule his death a homicide, but they’re still investigating the person(s) responsible and the motive.
A sports news outlet points out Antonio played for the Giants, Jaguars, and Packers during his NFL career. They also point out that the Giants waived Antonio in May of 2013.
