It looks like the trend of young artists celebrating the use of pills and drugs is slowly coming to an end.
Famous Dex is the latest artist to announce to his fans that he has decided to stop using Xanax and Lean, doing so to help himself and become a better father to his children.
“I just wanna thank God,” he said on Instagram. “I don’t do Xans, the lean. It’s over with, you know what I’m saying? God is good, God is great. I just wanna thank God for everything. I wanna thank my supporters. I wanna thank everyone for supporting me, everybody that knows me. God is so good. I’m relaxed, I’m chilling, I’m good . . . I’m doing it for me and my children. Get right. Dexter. Make the world get better.”

Other artists have decided to get clean following the passing of artists such as Lil’ Peep and Mac Miller. Lil’ Xan, Offset,
Smokepurpp, and others have also announced their decision in recent months.
