Floyd Mayweather, Jr. & Sr. Breaks Silence On Roger Mayweather’s Passing

Floyd Mayweather and his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., speaks out on the passing of Roger Mayweather.

Roger was a popular trainer, and Floyd Mayweather’s uncle. He passed away earlier this week, at the age of 58 according to TMZ.

Floyd Mayweather Sr., took to his Instagram to share a message that reads, “We are saddened with the recent news of Roger Mayweather’s passing. Our hearts go out to the Mayweather family and we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We thank you all for the outpouring of love and support during this time. Roger’s spirit lives on with us forever”

Floyd Mayweather shared a throwback photo of he and his uncle. The caption reads, “RIP Roger “BLACK MAMBA” Mayweather”

More than just a trainer, Roger once held the WBA and lineal super featherweight titles, along with the WBC light welterweight title. May he continue to rest in peace.
